Wedding photography Hobart
Visual awareness and coherence, and the ability to listen are just some of the characteristics needed to photograph the important moments of your wedding day. There are the intricacies of emotion as each of you gets ready for the ceremony. There’s also the joy and excitement about seeing each other for the first time, about saying ‘I do’ in front of friends and family. And afterwards, there’s the overflowing elation that comes with becoming married, of sharing your first kiss, and of steeling away for a few minutes before the celebrations continue. As an experienced photographer, I’m able to offer you both documentary and directed photography with all of the above attributes – to subtly create the images you want whilst you focus on everything else. Being based on the beautiful island of Tasmania, my availability to travel reaches far beyond Hobart, Wayatinah or Burnie. All you have to do is let me know what you’re planning and I’ll find a way to make it work.
Alex and Hayley
Having met in college, Alex and Hayley’s wedding was an amalgamation of the love and life they'd built for themselves over the last ten years.
On a warm day in late summer, Alex and Hayley were married at Plenty Cider in Plenty surrounded by friends and family. For 2 hours, I had the joy of photographing these two in this perfect setting.
Chris & Vic
On a day with one of the more nerve-wracking forecasts for the Autumn/Winter transition, Chris and Vic got their timing just right.
Both wind and rain subsided half an hour before proceedings started. Surrounded by friends and family, and broadcast to Vic's family in the Phillippines, their ceremony was a beautiful testament of their love for each other. It was a joy and an absolute thrill to spend 3 hours photographing these two at the North Warrane Oval, and at Storm Bay, Bellerive. Vic did an amazing job, being in her 32nd week of pregnancy, and Chris’s emotions showed how much love and respect he has for her.

Sharon & Rob
On a warm Saturday in February, Sharon and Rob returned to Wayatinah in Tasmania’s Central Highlands for their wedding.
Having grown up in Wayatinah, Rob felt a strong connection to this unique place - whilst the town’s population is much smaller than it was when Rob was a child, it no doubt retains its strong sense of togetherness. Sharon and Rob were married surrounded by an intimate group of family and friends, with their two Kelpies at their side in almost all aspects of the wedding.
